Hi, guys!

So, I made a little project for myself that will be going on for the next two months, and maybe more, if I feel like it.

Anyway, I’ve just bought a O2O book from a bookstore… obviously. There was a promotion, which would explain a lot of things. And when I noticed that one book has 60 pages, I got an idea.

I’m gonna do a page a day on this blog. So at the end of January, I’ll be posting a gallery of pics containing what I’ve written down. I just hope the image quality will be good enough, and it won’t take too much space.

Wish me luck!

Anehnya, gue mulai menulis lagi.

[HELP!] Please click!

I’m helping my friends. They have this assignment to make a blog post in a certain site but they have to reach a minimum of 100 views. So, yeah, if you could click these links below and just scroll to the bottom of the page, it’d be appreciated.

Oh, and if you end up enjoying them, then good for you, my fellow citizen! 😀

Ajaibnya Bawang Putih

Cute thing I saw today. I was at the mall going down the escalator when something caught my eye. A baby holding two balloons was waving the stick, and the somewhat smaller balloon was shaken off of it. It got stuck between the two escalators and rolled around like a globe!

Well, some guys who saw it laughed, took a video, then took the balloon. Just thought I’d share the little incident.

P.S. This blog’ll probably be more like a journal and my stash for reblogs. If you want something more literature-like, then that’ll be in my other blog.

Bye, “gobbledygooksoflife”

[UPDATE] Since I’m participating in a contest, I’m bringing the URL back ’til the middle/end of June. 🙂

I originally made this address because… I’m such a flibbertigibbet. But it seems I don’t deserve the name. It’s just… I don’t really post much about life, do I? More like random ramblings. (Hey, that’d make a nice address too, plus it has a ring to it, doesn’t it?) And anything long in this blog recently is probably a poem.

So I’m changing the address (or URL, whatever) to something else. Probably in an hour. Definitely within 24 hours. I’ll just have to delete the link from my social media. Then I’ll change the URL Then the blog description. Okay, this might take a bit more work than I expected. (Just a bit, though, and it’s on the internet, so why am I complaining?)

Well, that’s about it. Thanks for the read. I’ll continue to try and develop myself both as a writer and a person. 🙂

P.S. I might change back to this address. Someday. I just like the word “gobbledygook” too much, I guess. *sighs*

A to Z: Surprised

So I found something that made me speechless. And no, I’m not telling you what it is. I’m a bit tired of watching criminal movies/series where the good guy(s) catch the suspect then arrest them. What’s the first thing they say in the rights list?

“You have the right to remain silent.”

Then they’ll use all kinds of ways, dirty or clean, to squeeze out any kind of information.

I smell desperation.
I smell frustration.

I see irony.

Jack and Jill… in a different light.

So basically I’m just going to pour out all my thoughts on the nursery rhyme. It’s so… full of porn. If you don’t like it and read it anyway don’t blame me for anything.

“Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pall of water”

First of all, why did they have to go all the way up there? Water flows down, doesn’t it? And all that way just for one bucket? How big is it that it has to be carried by two people? And if it’s that heavy, why don’t they just send two boys? As Eddie Griffin bluntly said it… “They’re fucking!”

“Jack fell down and broke his crown, and Jill came tumbling after”

So, if you think Jack has a literal crown, you’re an idiot. If he’s a prince or something, he doesn’t even have to get water. And they could just put a well somewhere in or near the castle he lives in.

Now, think. What do men treasure like crowns? Are you there yet?

And Jill tumbled down to. They’re probably fucking so hard they both fell down. Seriously, couldn’t they pick somewhere safer to do this? *sighs*

“Up Jack got, and home did trot, as fast as he could caper”

Jack’s one tough kid. He could endure all the pain and still manage to run all the way…

“To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob”

This is just sick. FYI, nob is slang for the male genitals. And he had a WOMAN do it? And a dame, too. The kid’s got the better things in life, I guess. Dame Dob’s either a pedophile or his close family member. Or if they turn out to be “just” fifteen years old, then I guess she likes them young. The point is, Jack’s got it good.

“With vinegar and brown paper”

One word. Ouch.

“Then Jill came in and she did grin, to see Jack’s paper plaster”

Oh, how this made me angry. The. Dumb. Bitch. Gave. Herself. Away. And Jack too, I might add. The “decent” thing she could do to see how Jack’s doing is to pretend she’s coming in for some casual business, look surprised, then instantly go out.

Plus, she’s so mean. I mean, Jack’s “crown” broke. As in, he might not be able to ever have sexual intercourse for the rest of his life! And if they had to sneak away just to have sex, Jack’s probably doing her a favor or something.

“Her mother whipped her across the knee for laughing at Jack’s disaster”

I’m glad to see that. Jill got busted. And it shows good parenting. 😉

Credits to Eddie Griffin for enlightening me of how pornographic nursery rhymes and children’s stories could be. But why are we so oblivious to this? I think we’re just too used to hearing them. We have been hearing them since little. And, as Bruno Mars sang, we were…

“Too young, too dumb, to realize”

Olaf. The Most Suicidal Disney Character I’ve Seen So Far.

Just something I need to get out first: the title looks annoying with every word’s first letter in capital, doesn’t it? Oh well.

So, why do I say this? I know Olaf’s cute and kind and has hisown group of fangirls and all that, but seriously, he’s a tad bit creepy in my opinion.  And he’s not even conscious about it! And I’m going to give evidence to this!

First of all… his first words.

“Hi! I’m Olaf, and I like warm hugs!”

He likes warm hugs. Need I explain any further?

Then, of course, the song he sang. That’s. Just. So. Wrong. Again, no explanation required.

Thus far, “warm hugs” show hospitality and Olaf didn’t even know what heat felt like. And what it does to frozen things like him. I don’t really blame him. Still, while the other kids (and even adults) find him just another talking dead thing from Disney, I move back just a little to ponder about how sick the concept of Olaf’s character is.

In Disney’s defense, it’s the type of character that sells. The innocent and unknowing (main or main-ish) protagonist. Olaf’s not the only one. Disney Princesses aren’t even always aware of the danger they’re in, or what their prince has done to save them.

For example, I don’t find it impossible that Aurora a.k.a. Briar Rose laughs at Prince Phillip when he says he had to fight Maleficent as a dragon in order to save her. And I won’t blame her either. It may sound exaggerated to her, and she doesn’t know any better.

But in Olaf’s case, he actually had a chance to realise the danger of heat and get away from it! Or at least prolong his time before being melted.

It’s that heartwarming scene when he helped Anna warm herself and said she’s worth melting for.

Honestly I also went “Awww” watching that part but my mind kept bugging me. Olaf’s not supposed to be stupid, right? WHY DIDN’T HE STAND A BIT FURTHER FROM THE FIRE!? He could’ve gotten a feet or two away from the fire and  still be there for Anna. Plus, if he really did want to keep her safe, he’d do a better job if he was around longer, wouldn’t he? Just… think about it.

These are the kind of thoughts I have when watching any kind of movie. “Why not do (insert alternative) instead?” “Did he/she really have to say that?” Believe me when I say that as much as I love my brain for humoring me, I’m also pissed at times because it won’t let me watch most movies and read most books in peace.

My overall love for Frozen is nowhere near the category “severely damaged”, but it definitely takes out some points for Olaf.
